Photographer Susan Hall is best known for her portraiture of the Afghan people.
In March 2005, Hall traveled with the Global Exchange delegation "Women Making Change" to Afghanistan for an Independent Study Project at Arizona State University.
Hall returned to Afghanistan in March 2007, as a volunteer for the NGO Afghans4Tomorrow, teaching English and photographing in the A4T girl's schools.
Hall’s photographs have appeared on the Global Exchange and Afghans4Tomorrow websites. They also have been exhibited at the San Francisco Arts Commissions’ “Our World Exhibition: Art at City Hall” and Arizona State Universities’ Gallery One.
Hall’s recent work photographing the homeless in New Orleans appeared in the American Friends Service Committee publication “Street Spirit”.
Hall received her BFA in Photography from Arizona State University in Spring 2005.
