Krista Kennell is one Southern California's most versatile editorial photographers, regularly pivoting between the worlds of exotic travel, celebrity, high fashion and social documentation in her 15 years of using a camera to explore life around the world that fascinate her.
Krista studied photography at the University of Missouri Columbia's journalism program under some of the profession's strongest leaders and innovators. She's also worked as a picture editor for the photo world's most prestigious agencies: ZUMA press, Corbis, and Getty Images.
From her Hollywood base, Krista covers Los Angeles as well as San Diego, Santa Barbara, and northern California. Her pictures are regularly published major national and international magazines, newpapers and television news. Her recent work on the California wildfires was widely praised and was published prominently in Time magazine and other publications.
