Guy moved to Ethiopia in June 2006 to focus on social issues and conflicts in Africa. In the last year Guy worked mostly for the Italian magazines Vanity Fair and L'Espresso. He is currently developing three long term projects: The crisis in Somalia, a story on urban migrations and a book on the Nuer, an ethnic group that lives between South Sudan and Western Ethiopia.
