Dan Heidenreich is a photographer and professional environmental geologist. Over the past 25 years the combination of Dan's geology career and his passion for adventure travel has enabled him to extensively explore North America. Additionally, Dan's past travels include Asia, Europe, South America and numerous Caribbean and Pacific islands.
Having been an avid climber, skier, hiker and sea kayaker based in Colorado since the early 1980s, Dan's photography grew as an extension of his outdoor activities and from his appreciation for the natural environment. More recently, Dan's overseas travels have allowed his image collection to include international cultures.
Dan has shot with digital equipment exclusively since 2002 and has digitally scanned hundreds of the transparencies in his collection.
