About Me, by RC...
I’ve spent the last 28 years witnessing life and events through the lenses of motion picture and video cameras. I’ve been blessed because my job and those cameras have taken me to some amazing and awe-inspiring places and while there, I have gotten to know and become friends with people I never dreamed I’d ever meet.

On all of my journeys I’ve had a few steady companions – a trusty Olympus OM-1, then a Nikon F-100, an excellent camera that got teamed with a D-200. Unfortunately, the life of that camera was cut short when it got destroyed in a zodiac boat capsizing accident during a TV production job in the ocean off Antarctica. Every storm always passes and the sun returns again. Today that waterlogged D-200 sits as a unique bookend/conversation piece and it’s photo place is filled with an awesome Nikon D-3! Yes...there is a silver lining to every cloud!

Our world is a fascinating and beautiful place filled with fascinating and, for the most part, beautiful people. Through this excellent site I’d like to share the images of the frozen moments I’ve been fortunate to capture through time, and also gain inspiration from the wonderful pictures my fellow Digital Railroad photographers have captured.

Please take some time to browse my work and feel free to give me your critique – good and bad. Feedback is so very welcome!
