Danita Delimont sells worldwide travel, nature, culture and lifestyle images to wholesale tour operators, cruiseship lines, magazines, advertising agencies and textbook publishers.

Danita's web site, at www.danitadelimont.com, hosts more than 175,000 high-resolution images taken by over 250 professional travel photographers whom Danita has chosen to work with because of their geographic travel coverage or subject-matter specialization -- underwater photography, insects, birds, mammals, plants, butterflies, etc.

Large, non-watermarked comps and instant downloading of high-res images for authorized users make Danita's website a terrific tool for image buyers. New images are added daily to keep fresh material available to clients.

Danita’s career in stock photography started by chance in 1980 when she met photographer Wolfgang Kaehler on the Amazon River, where they both worked on an adventure cruise ship, the World Discover.

After 18 years, half a million images and a thousand clients, Danita decided to strike out on her own and formed Danita Delimont Stock Photography.

Today, Danita is a walking, talking Atlas of the World. When she doesn’t instantly know of a place or subject, she’s got the Atlas out or is looking it up on the Internet! With more than 24 years of experience selling travel-related images, there are few places she’s unfamiliar with. She knows every tourist port of call and has in-depth knowledge of the day trips, flora, fauna, and culture at each.

A two-year stint as National President of the American Society of Picture Professionals thrust Danita into the forefront of the photo industry. Her work with the North American Nature Photography Association and her membership in the Picture Archive Council of America give her a well-rounded knowledge of the photo industry. Danita's industry expertise is widely sought after as a speaker, a portfolio reviewer and as an expert witness in photo-related legal cases.
