Dave Walsh is a photographer, writer and press officer who collects his post in Dublin, Ireland, but is always on on the move. In the last four years he's worked as a blogger, press officer and occasional photographer with Greenpeace, in the frozen forests of Arctic Finland, off the coast of Equatorial Africa, and on the icy tranquility of the Antarctic's Ross Sea - some of the world's most remarkable places.
Dave's driven to
inspire people through both his writing and photography.
"There's plenty of photographers documenting the horrors of the world - respect to them, they have stronger stomachs than me. But if I can show a little bit of our planet's beauty, and inspiring someone towards action, within their own lives or in broader context - such as environmental or humanitarian activism - then I can go to bed satisfied."
Dave's photographs have been used by Greenpeace, British Airways, The International Polar Foundation, I Count - Stop Climate Chaos, The UK's National Theatre, Masa Acher magazine (Israel), The Clare People (Ireland), Conde Naste Traveller, Fortean Times and many other clients, including several publishers. He also has written for several newspapers and magazines, including the Irish Times and Mare magazine (Germany).
Dave Walsh is represented by Eyevine.
