How to export images to your Digital Railroad archive:

From the File menu, choose "Export". Select "Upload to Digital Railroad" from the Preset drop-down and make any other necessary export configurations. Then click Export to begin the upload process.
- Alternatively you can choose "Export with Preset" from the File menu and then select "Upload to Digital Railroad" from the flyout menu that appears. This will skip the export configuration dialog and launch the export process immediately.
-
If this is your first time using the exporter, you'll be prompted to enter your Digital Railroad archive name, your FTP name (which is usually the same as your member name), and your FTP password. After you've provided this information, click Sign In.
-
Choose the group to which you want to upload your photos. You can select one of your existing groups or you can create a new group. Click Upload once you have specified the destination group.
- The exporter will connect to Digital Railroad and upload your images. After the transfer has begun, you may continue working in Lightroom. If you choose to export more images from Lightroom while an upload is already in progress, the new images will be added to the upload queue.
-
When the upload is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation dialog that reports the status of the uploaded images.
Note: The export plug-in checks for updates once a week. If a new version is available, you will be prompted to install it. No personally identifying information is transmitted as a part of this process.
