Welcome to the stock photo agency for Andy Smith. Andy has had a passion for photography for many years, developing a large portfolio of slides from around the world during his travels. In the last several years his interest in bringing people in touch with the natural world led to a focus on nature photography, with a particular emphasis on birds. His award-winning photography has been exhibited at Neumann College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Drew University, the Ocean City Arts Center in New Jersey, Jenkins Arboretum, the Palmyra Cove Nature Center, the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum. and the Mill Grove Audubon Center. Awards include ribbons at juried art shows at the Ocean City Arts Center and the Mill Grove Audubon Center, the cover photo on the 2007 brochure for the Wings ‘n Water Festival, and two images included in the 2007 North American Nature Photographers Showcase. Andy has lived in the Darby Creek Watershed in the town of Devon, Pennsylvania for 19 years. After completing a 35 year career as a campus minister and then, Director of Social Responsibility in Investments for the American Baptist Churches
USA, he consulted with corporations on building a sustainable society. He also taught ethics and philosophy at Neumann College. His formal education includes an AB in history from Duke University, an STB from Harvard University and a PHD in Religion and Society from Drew University.
Andy uses Canon digital SLR cameras with a variety of lenses. He does his own processing, printing, matting and framing.
