Alan & Linda Detrick are owners of a stock photography business specializing in garden and horticultural photography. Alan's work appears world wide in advertisements, magazines, books, calendars, posters, cards, catalogs, corporate brochures and the internet. They also provide a wide range of photographic services for landscape architects and garden designers.

An experienced instructor, Alan has lectured and led photography workshops for a select group of professional organizations and gardens including the American Horticultural Society, the Garden Club of America, the Garden Writers Association, The New York Botanical Garden, Chanticleer Garden and Longwood Gardens.

Alan was the sole photographer for the book Easy and Elegant Roses by Ellen Spector Platt.

In 2005 Alan & Linda were named Fellows of the Garden Writers Association.

Alan's new book, 'Macro Photography for Gardeners and Nature Lovers' by Timber Press will be released November 2008
