Welcome to my archive. I am a Filmmaker/Photographer. A few weeks ago, I decided to let my pictures go in cyberspace and founded the web site www.mercyphotography.com.
The site was created to fill the void of quality images lacking in the main stream press & media outlets.
I beleive, in my humble way, in the tradition of the great Photojournalists of the past that images are taken to make a lasting impact on the viewer by providing a glimpse of truth that is both News & Art.
Photographs should be like little windows of reality just like the eyes are the window of the soul.
Nobody could put it better than the Master Henri Cartier-Bresson:" To take photographs means to recognize ( simultaneously & within a fraction of a second) both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one's head, one's eye & one's heart on the same axis".
Last but not least, because I beleive in giving back; 20 % of the proceeds from prints sales or publications will be donated to Habitat For Humanity.
