EVA-LOTTA JANSSON

Born in Sweden, Eva-Lotta is currently working in Africa, photographing for media and aid organizations.

The photographer also works on her own photography projects, often dealing with minority groups and social justice issues. For example, the exhibition Women Miners toured mines in South Africa. And now she is busy with a project about children living with HIV. Before heading off to Africa, Eva-Lotta worked as a photographer and writer in London, publishing her photo stories in magazines such as Guardian Weekend Magazine and The Saturday Times Magazine.

Eva-Lotta studied photojournalism at the London College of Printing, in the UK, and journalism at the Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, in the United States, where she lived and worked as a journalist for more than 10 years.
