Erin Siegal is a young photographer specializing in photojournalism, documentary, and editorial photography. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Time Out New York, The Indypendent, and many other magazines and newspapers. Based in New York City, Erin has studied at the School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of Design, and Harvard University. She worked studio manager for James Nachtwey before becoming a freelancer in New York. Clients include Reuters, the Urban Justice Center, Rolling Stone, the United Nations, and many more.
Her personal work has been shown in galleries and venues including the A.I.R Gallery, the Boston Photo Collaborative, Project Diversity: Brooklyn, Stepping Stone Gallery, Bluestockings, the Knitting Factory, New School University, Danny Simmon's Corridor Gallery, the Brecht Forum, Locus Media Gallery, and at Jen Bekman.
WHAT'S NEW:Erin is based in NYC until July 2009.
She is on a full scholarship to the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and will finish in May 2009.
