This is the archive/image library of Andrew Orchard Sports Photography. We have been in business since 1994 and are based in South Wales, UK.
We cover all sporting events & leisure activities covering events all over Wales, the UK and some worldwide.
Some examples of what we cover include Six Nations championship rugby, Football league matches, regional rugby, Motorsports, international tennis, international football, snooker and much more.
Some of the organisations that have used our photography and images include regional & national newspapers, international magazines, governing bodies, advertising & PR agencies, marketing agencies, tourism agents and boards, county councils etc.
We are available for commissioned photography at very competitive rates and our high resolution digital stock images are available from the archive at very competitive prices.
This archive/image library is still very new so our images are being added to it gradually. If you are looking for an image and can not find it here then please contact us to see if we can help. We may have suitable images in our files off-line.
It is our intention to eventually have images of nearly all sports and leisure activities that are played/participated in, from Archery to Yachting, bog snorkelling to white water rafting.
If you are a picture researcher/professional image buyer then please register/sign in. You will be able to use the many benefits of the archive including creating lightboxes, generate pricing requests and request download permissions.
Picture editors interested in receiving regular pictures from us are invited to contact us by e-mail or telephone so that we can set this up for you. We are able to send the latest pictures straight after the event/football/rugby match straight to your picture desk via ftp transfer.
For Football and Rugby match coverage we are very near to Cardiff and Swansea areas and only a short hop accross the bridge to teams in the Bristol/Swindon and the Midlands areas.
All stock images here in the archive are available for licence to use for a variety of uses eg editorial, books, advertising, commercial uses, websites, travel brochures, company newsletters and reports etc. High resolution images are stored here in different sizes, If you require an image larger then just contact us with the details, we can then set the image up to your specification and either upload to the archive, send by ftp or e-mail or deliver on CD.
PLEASE NOTE that certain images here have a restricted usage. All images taken at Football league matches may only be used in an editorial context, eg reproduced in newspapers or magazines only. They may not be used on any other website. These pictures are subject to restrictions set out in an agreement/licence with the Football League. Certain WELSH RUGBY international images are also subject to the restrictions set out in an agreement with the WRU , these may only be used for editorial purposes. It may however be possible for these Welsh rugby images to be used for commercial uses but permission will have to be sourced first from the WRU. Please contact us if you have any questions or are interested in getting permission for a particular image to be used.
All images with these restricted uses are clearly marked within the archive.
All images on our website and within the archive/image library are the copyright of the photographer. No reproduction or downloading is allowed without our permission.
PHOTO PRINT SALES
We also operate a separate image library selling photo prints and photo products for personal use only. Buy a photo here for yourself, family & friends. Some images from our archive will appear here but this will mainly be used for displaying and selling photo prints taken at your events and sports matches.
If we have photographed your event, football or rugby match, festival or tournament then this is where you will find your photo.
At the moment we are only able to accept payments for photo print orders by cheque or PO . You will find details of ordering on the main website but basically you just find your photo's, add them to your shopping cart, then at checkout you need to print off the order form and post that to us with your payment. All photo print orders are supplied on professional photo paper and these are printed for us at a professional photo lab.
