Andrea's career as a freelance photographer began with her passions of travel and outdoor adventure sports. After graduating from Northwestern University with concentrations in communications, journalism, and art, she began traveling on assignment and personal journeys throughout Europe, S.E. Asia, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.
Her editorial work has been published internationally, including: National Geographic Traveler, Wine Spectator, VIA, San Francisco Chronicle, The Oregonian, Horizon Air, Photo Media, and Rick Steves Europe through the Back Door guidebooks.
She has also applied her photojournalist style to working with corporate clients and on special commissions near her hometown of Portland, Oregon, which include her specialities of wine and travel: WillaKenzie Estate, Lemelson, Chehalem, Bergstrom, Joe Dobbes, N.W. Wine Co, Oregon Wine Board, Canadian Tourism, Yost, Grube, Hall architecture, U.S. Bank, and Maxwell PR. Additionally exhibits of her fine art prints are regularly displayed in Portland.
