Portrait photographer of writers for over 30 years, I have collected an extensive amount of portraits of writers from all parts of the world.

I have met Gabriel Garcia Marquez in Colombia, Yachar Kemal in Istanbul, Paul Bowles in Tanger, Naguib Mahfouz in Cairo, Tom Wolfe and Paul Auster in New York, Eudora Welty in Mississipi, Alberto Moravia in Rome, José Saramago in Lanzarote, Camilo José Cela and Eduardo Mendoza in Spain, Günter Grass in Germany. Borges, Highsmith, Fuentes, Styron, Irving, Gaarder, Morrison, Banks, Ellroy, Harrison, Rushdie, Nasreen in Paris and elsewhere.

My pictures are published in different news magazines from China to the United States, syndicated by Getty Images and Gamma.

Norwegian, I'm currently based in Paris, but travel here and there to meet writers in their own world.

During my photo session I concentrate on giving a certain atmosphere related to the writers world. Sometimes I play with the light, sometimes I emphasize the composition always with respect of the model.

I have a permanent exhibition in Paris at Café Les Editeurs, 4 Carrefour de l'Odéon, 75006 Paris.
