Aaron M. Cohen
Aaron M. Cohen is a freelance photographer currently based in New York City. He received an MA in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, and in 2003, attended the International Center of Photography's Documentary Photography and Photojournalism program. While he was a student there, he interned at Magnum Photos. Aaron was selected as one of the top student photographers on the America 24/7 project, and his images appeared in both New York 24/7 and New Jersey 24/7. He is represented by Corbis and Sipa Press, and he works regularly for newspapers, magazines and nonprofit organizations.

Magazine clients include Geo (Germany), Time Out New York, Fortune Small Business, The Independent: Film and Video Monthy, Photographer's Forum, The Futurist Magazine and The Sun Magazine, as well as the children's magazines GeoLino and Time Out New York Kids. Nonprofit clients include Habitat for Humanity (in the U.S.) and The Children's Movement for Creative Education (in Bosnia). His work has also appeared in weekly NYC-area newspapers such as New York Press, The Villager and The Downtown Express. In addition, his photographs have been featured in a number of group exhibitions, including most recently the 2006 Gjon Mili Prize-International Exhibition in Kosovo, the Humble Arts Foundation's Group Show No. 18, and the Visual AIDS Postcards from the Edge benefit in New York. He is the recipient of a 2007 Artist Grant from the Puffin Foundation.
